Who operates the app

Kneat Heaven Boutique in Windsor, Ontario, Canada operates Kneat Heaven Yarn Room. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information we collect

• Account information: your verified sign-in identity, email address, display name and an internal account identifier.
• Yarn Room content: yarn, quantities, dye lots, transactions, projects, notes, counters, lists, locations, imported source values and photos you choose to upload.
• Billing information: Stripe customer, purchase, subscription and entitlement references. Card numbers are entered on Stripe-hosted pages and are not stored by Kneat Heaven Yarn Room.
• Technical information: security, request and error information created while operating the service.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, keep accounts separate, provide app features, process and restore purchases, protect the service, answer support requests and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use your private inventory to advertise to you.

Service providers

Google may verify a Google sign-in, Supabase provides customer authentication, Stripe processes app payments, and our hosting and storage providers run the app and store its private records. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Camera, photos and files

Camera access is optional. Barcode camera frames and barcode photos are decoded in your browser and are not uploaded by the scanner. Yarn or project photos you choose to save are uploaded to private app storage. CSV imports are processed for your account; original values and unknown columns are preserved so your source information is recoverable.

Storage and retention

Your active Yarn Room data is kept until you delete it or ask us for help deleting it. Billing and transaction records may be retained when required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or law. Limited logs, recovery copies and files you downloaded or shared may remain outside the active app after deletion.

Your choices

You can export your yarn as CSV, download a full backup, correct records in the app and delete private app data from Yarn Room → Data. Deleting app data does not cancel a Stripe subscription or delete your Google account. Contact support for access, correction, deletion or privacy questions.

Security and children

Private records are protected by server-side account authorization, not only by hidden navigation. No online service can promise absolute security. The app is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to an account; a parent or guardian should supervise use where required.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
